It was a pretty brisk day, but Jennifer and I had fun getting hot chocolate, walking around town and enjoying the day with TONS of people walking around on a Sunday morning. I haven't ever hung out in downtown Boone before, which is just off of Appalachian State University's campus. Definitely a cool place to check out.

Charles - so glad I got to meet you at Lutherock and hear about your 100 NC Courthouses - an awesome project I would say.
Now, something you don't know about me is that my mother was the Register of Deeds at the Brookings County Courthouse in Brookings, South Dakota where I was born and also home of South Dakota State University - one of the coolest colleges around. Check it out sometime. Our mascot is a Jackrabbit. Our homecoming is Hobo Day. You need to visit sometime. Best ice cream around made on campus in the Dairy Bacteriology building!!
